DragonBall

This is not a new manga and dragonball is often considered as outdated but it is one the best mangas for many reasons: it's an unpretentious story and as the comics, mangas are mean to be simple and powerful; dragonball creates a complete and robust universe and finally the story and the characters always move forward and progress, there is no wasted time or stagnation in Dragonball. You can like it or not, DragonBall is still the first BIG manga, long before Naruto and the others, and it was the first manga i read, the one that made me love manga!
The story: a young boy living alone meets a girl looking for some strange balls, the dragonballs. He decides to help her in her quest and turns out to be a very strong fighter in martial arts. During the journey they make a lot of friends and together they happen to save the world several times.

This manga is a real gem, it's sober, deeply sensitive and everything but naive. Jiro Taniguchi is a master !

Macross zero is a superb anime in5 episodes of 30 minutes each. A pilot crashes in a strange island and, as time passes, begins to love the people living there. He is a pilot in a war where the fighters are using "robots" or "mecha" airplanes. The graphics are stuning and we're never bored: a very good anime, even for those who don't really like japanese animations.

In a future world, a terrible virus has killed a substantial part of Humanity. The remaining people are fighting to survive in a world dominated by terrorists, mafias and new organistations.
In this world, people often have cybernetic parts replacing body parts (arm, leg...).
This manga shows harsh things and should not be put in any hands, but it's a very good manga : I really advise you to read it, if you like seinen / science-fiction mangas of course !

Just some news now i'm back from hollidays. I've just finished reading all the release of Chaosic rune. And it is really a good shounen, with a interesting concept and good drawing. 6.5/10 for now.

After being the only survivor in a plain crash and losing his parents Ryouga, a young boy, is troubled by nightmares and taunted by other kids at his school. Fed up, he agrees to transfer to another school intrigued by a mysterious offer and the hope they may know why or how he was able to survive the crash. Arriving at the new school, he learns he must play a little card game with three others before being accepted... one card each, one vicious monster each, one grusome death for all save one.

Hi !
For people who really like shoujo, i advice you to read this manga. It is a classical story of shoujo with a love triangle and story between flatmate. But the drawing is really nice, the story is well-made.. You will have a good time to read it even if it will not make you become addicted...
My personnal rating is 6.5/10.

Nao Yoshikawa stays behind to live by herself when her parents leave to inherit her grandpa's farm in the country. On the day she moves into her new apartment she soon discovers that it was rented also to Hisashi Uehara - a cute, super-cool and populer guy from her school. Not only did their housing agency unexpectedly close down, the landlord of the apartment tells them that they had to pay more for their aparment then they had expected. With both no money and no home to return to, Nao and Hisashi decide to live together as flatmates.

Just to speak about a new manga, i've dicovered tonight... It is really good, it is a detective story. The scenario migth be maybe a bit too classical but i think this manga worth to be read... I give it the rate of 7.5/10 for now...

I'm afraid we did a terrible mistake, but we forgot to tell about Mitsuru Adachi !!!

Well, I suggest you try H2 and Rough, which both are top-class mangas.

It's old style manga, very intelligent, Adachi suggests all the feelings and thoughts of the heros by the some strange sentences or special way of looking or standing.

The best way to understand it is to try it !!!

Long life to the korean manga !!

I really appreciated "Chunchu" (or "Chonchu" in french). Even if the story is quite classic: Chunchu is immortal because of a demon's stone and this curse is the source of problems for him, this manga is really captivating and the drawing is very beautiful.

Just to introduice the new discovery of the day this time it is a shoujo " Beauty Pop by ARAI Kiyoko "

This is a funny story of 3 boys, a hairstylist, a nail artist and someone responsible for the overall balance. They are the make-over team in school and they select a girl who they will transform into a beauty. Naturally they are popular, but does it really give them the right to pass judgment around as they do? Well there seems to be an anonymous hairstylist with rivaling talent around who doesn't share their opinions and offers help to whoever needs it... Just give it a try people ^^

It is quite new to have a manga about hairstylers ( instead of bakers or cooks ) and the story seems very good but only 7 chapter have been released yet... A manga to folow, i think, we will see if it will keep going on the same way or not... You can download it on http://dragonvoice.org/.. Enjoy ( or not...)

Just to speak about a very fun manga i have read last night it is totally delirous..

The story is of Kitano Seiichirou, a very kind and pure-hearted young man, with a horrifying, monstrous face. People being what they are, they think he's a terrifying delinquent, and there are plenty of chance misunderstandings (coupled with Kitano's convenient inability to understand what's happening around him) that propel him into the position of "school guardian", a.k.a. head thug on campus.

You migth think that this manga will have no interest but try it when you want to have a big laugh it is stupid but very funny... I have just 16 chapter for now... I will say more when i will have read more of it.

My manga of the week : Kimagure Orange Road.

The story isn't very complex, but it's a good manga. The relationships between the hero and the 2 girls are well described, it's not a exceptionnal manga but it's fun to read. You can find it on directmanga's website : "http://www.directmanga.com/".

The problem of this website is that the server is bad, you have to try to download 3 times in average, unless you agree to pay for a better login... That's why I'm not gonna put this URL on the links part.

Just a post to advice you another really good manga it is called d.gray-man... A good univers with a war between exorcist and pseudo demonic creature.... It is a shounan with romance in a fantasy univers... Else i just give you a very good website to know all the released manga of the day..
